Why we started
Pearls were either heirlooms or afterthoughts
Fine pearl jewellery sat behind glass at prices built for once-a-decade occasions. Everything else was a plastic bead with a gold-coloured coating that wore off by summer.
We wanted the middle: real pearls, matched properly, on settings that survive daily wear, at a price you can justify on a normal month. So we buy pearls directly, match them ourselves, and skip everything between the pearl and the person wearing it.
How we work
Four things we do not compromise
Matching is manual
Two pearls of the same diameter can differ in luster, tone and roundness. We lay them out on linen and match by eye — luster first, then shape, then overtone — which is why our pairs read as pairs.
Knotted, not glued
Pieces are strung by hand on durable coated thread; silk thread can be requested. It costs more time and thread, but the strand moves, does not rub, and survives losing one pearl instead of all of them.
Settings that last
We use 18k gold-plated brass rather than thin gold-coloured alloy, with nickel-free posts. Plating wears — every plated piece does — but ours is thick enough to be re-plated rather than replaced.
Small batches
We release in batches of dozens. It keeps quality checkable and means a restock is a new batch, not a copy. If something is sold out, it is genuinely gone until the next one.

Where we ship, how fast
Orders leave the studio within 6 business days, tracked, to the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia and most of Asia. Typical transit is 7–14 business days after dispatch; remote destinations can take longer.
Duties and import taxes, where they apply, are the buyer's responsibility and are not included at checkout. Because every piece is made for you, change-of-mind returns are not accepted; faults are repaired, replaced or refunded within 12 months — see Shipping & returns.
